A Couple Photos

So this is Joey and I- The Doodles'es. Isn't he handsome!! The photo of a bunch of people is us at our friend Brents wedding. Brent happen to have thier wedding on the day of KU vs North Carolina during the final four. Brent is also a big KU fan so there was a tv with the game on. All of the people in the photo above were glued to the game. I am a die hard KU basketball fan (I don't care much for other sports). We all had on our lucky KU gear (I had on my lucky chonies). During basketball season you will really get to know how much in love with the jayhawks I am. Yes I said it- In Love!!
This is the Son Bun. I have more pics but I am currently at work and couldn't find any better ones. This shows how cute he is though! He always get annoyed with me, as you can see by his ears being partly down. But he is just so dang cute!!!

And a doodles begins

This is my first blog and I am kind of excited about it. My really wonderful friend Katie (see blog list on the side) created a blog and I told her I would too. I named my blog "To Be a Doodles" because my husband and I call each other doodles. Its similar to "honey" or "babe" but its different. A pet name you don't hear people call each other often. We started out with the name being secret (its a bit embarrassing), then we started to say it in public because it was just a reflex. I would want him to come over to me and I would automatically say doodles. It has had spin offs like pumpkin doodles, sugar doodles.. etc. I love it now though because it is our thing. When he proposed he called me his doodles, it brought tears to my eyes!! I love being married, it is amazing to call him my husband! Joey bought me Sonny (my adorable kitty) for Christmas 2 years ago. He was the best present I have ever gotten. He is an Abyssinian and has the BEST personality. I will put pictures up shortly of Sonny and Joey.
I wrote a lot about myself in the "about me" section, but here is a bit more. I talk A LOT about my personal life and am constantly asking people for advice. I'm not going to lie, I ask a lot about pregnancy. I am a nurse but I think I was put on earth to be a mommy. I can't wait to be nauseous, pee all the time and have a huge belly!! My husband Joey would like to have kids, but definitely not as much as me. We recently decided to have a kid sooner rather than later and I am SUPER excited. The problem.. every month I am very disappointed when stupid aunt flo comes to town. Ok, well I can't lie we have only officially tried once (this month will be the second). I think everyone I work with knows my cycle by heart, but oh well. That's why I call them true friends! :) Some of them even know the intimate details of TTC (trying to conceive). Ha ha! I try my hardest not to tell them such personal details, but I can't help it. If they ask, I must tell! But that's ok, I don't think they mind. All of the best friends I have had never minded a little TMI every once in a while. :) I feel obligated to say that today was my most fertile day of my ovulation week (according to the calender method). My fingers are currently crossed in hopes that soon I will have a small mold spore growing inside me :)
Well I probably have said too much considering this is my first blog, but I wanted to give a lot of info about me.. the doodles.
